Personal Care

Personal Care services involve a home health aide assisting you with daily activities. This can range from showering to meal prep. Our private care providers assist the participants with all the tasks they now require help with.

Personal care can be particularly advantageous for those with caregivers who are unable to continue taking care of their loved ones because of the circumstances. However, here are a few reasons that personal care is incredibly advantageous!

Support Coordination

Support coordination helps you every step of your NDIS journey. Our support coordinators make sure that you are on the right path. Managing an NDIS plan yourself can be difficult and time-consuming. A support coordinator will guide you through your services and plans. They connect you to suitable providers and ensure you get the right services for yourself.
Before we talk about what support coordinators do, let’s discuss the types of support coordination that you can avail of. Support Connection- This helps you in reaching out to communities and seeking informal help.

Assist-Travel/Transport

Faith Shiva Care provides travel and transport services so our participants can live life fully.
Participants can choose when and for what reason they require travel or transport support, from medical appointments to community access.
– Support workers can accompany participants on public transport and help them build their capacity to travel independently. We will assist with any equipment and supports that are necessary.
– For participants who cannot travel independently, we arrange private transport options. This could be a taxi, or one of our support workers driving in their own car.

Community Access

At Faith Shiva we want our participants to live life as though they were not restricted by a disability. This means we encourage our participants to enjoy themselves in the community, with the comfort of having a trusted Support Worker by their side.
Community Access is only limited to the imagination of the participant involved, from simple trips to the grocery store, a walk in the park, going to the movies or the local gym; anywhere you want to go, our Support Workers will gladly accompany you.

Group / Centre Based Activities

At Faith Shiva we are proud to conduct regular group activities and events so that our participants can socialize.
Many of our group activities take place at our Head Office in Truganina. We also organise fun excursions and day trips around Victoria.
